Way out west

Last night, Aunt Jo and Uncle Ronnie dropped by after a trip into town. Not only did they bring Sarah along (so good to see you, Sarah!), but also two horses that they had taken to the vet. After visiting for a while, the kids wanted to see the horses, and - bless their hearts - talked them into taking them out of the trailer. It wasn't long and they were all riding the horses - right by our front yard. It was so much fun, and Nina liked the horses very much. In fact, she liked the real ones so much better than the stick horse that wiggles its head while playing "lone ranger" - THAT freaked her out ;-))

                                            Yeeee-haaaaawww, this is fun!

                                            Time to say goodbye

                                             Bye, Sarah!

See you later, Paint! (aka "Rain" from the movie "Spirit")

What an awesome first experience for Nina!!! Horses are wonderful!!! I bet your kids have a blast. It looks like you live in the country....and they have plenty of room to roam. How awesome!!! We live in a neighborhood. We'd love to have the room to roam!! Anyway...thanks for sharing the pictures!! Nina looks like she had a blast!!!

Wow my 6 yr. old, Carlie, would be in hog heaven. She's dying to take "horse classes" as she calls them! What a great experience for Nina. That cracks me up about her being afraid of the Lone Ranger stick horse! Quan is very timid of stuffed animals that move or make sounds!
