Oh Barb...Happy 4th to yall too! I have chills from going back and reading your one year adoption posts...oh thank you for sharing your heart. So many of your feelings are feelings I have experienced the past year as well. It's been one ride, hasn't it? I know we wouldn't trade one second of it, because it truly has brought us closer to the heart of God! I agree with you especially when you talked about God never getting us at the cute baby stage but loving us unconditionally anyway. Unconditionally...have we learned that kind of love or what? And hey, I'm STILL learning it!
